What is the procedure of appeal?

RTI Appeal Procedure

1. First Appeal:
   1. Time Frame: File within 30 days from the PIO's decision.
   2. Authority: First Appellate Authority (FAA).
   3. Format: Include RTI application number, response received, and grounds for appeal.
   4. Submission: Submit to the FAA of the same public authority.
2. Second Appeal:
   1. Time Frame: File within 90 days from the FAA's decision.
   2. Authority: Central Information Commission (CIC) or State Information Commission (SIC).
   3. Format: Include all relevant details and copies of previous correspondence.
   4. Submission: Submit to the CIC or SIC.
3. Hearing: The Information Commission may call for a hearing.
4. Decision: The Information Commission's decision is binding.
